Fauci says that there are several vaccines in trials & that preliminary studies suggest that there may be a safe vaccine by the end of the year, but there'd be only limited amount of vaccine available for priority workers, 1st. Then incremental distribution over months to others.
Fauci says that vaccine is being produced now, so that it is ready when it is determined to be safe and efficacious. But he stresses that this is going to be a slow layered process of distribution with frontline workers and then at-risk people next. He suggests mid-2021.
Fauci is talking about testing on a broad scale & that he has been saying this for a while. He says we need 150M tests. And different types of testing. Cuomo wants testing for kids so schools can open. Fauci says we are doing better than months ago, but not where we should be.
Fauci says there is resurgence in some places and other areas are red zones. He says "I would like to say we can all have a good Thanksgiving, but I can't say that." He says we need to be below 10k cases a day but we are at 50k cases a day.

Dr. Fauci says what Trump should have said. He says we have to stay outdoors not indoors, social distancing, hand washing and #WearAMask. He says we could get our numbers down and save thousands of lives. Fauci says it could get worse once everyone is indoors all the time.

Re: #Thanksgiving, Dr. Fauci says that people should plan on smaller get togethers with just immediate family. He says having a lot of people in a confined indoor space is not safe.
