Today I get to celebrate starting my own business, 13 years ago today. President Bush had run our economy into the ground for everyday Joes, @_Jacquelyn2020’s and Janes like my family. We elected @POTUS44 and the most successful years of my life came from it—from the bottom UP
My salary stayed flat for all 8 years under Dubya. And with babies as a young father, I came to work to find every employee standing outside locked out with the lights off. Our last two paychecks bounced. It was just in time for Christmas and my son was due any day.
@BarackObama and @JoeBiden gave me the most successful years of my life. We went from a tiny 2BD in the hood, to a house with East & West backyards, outdoor ceilings fans, more room than a library and a savings account—and when I was hit with raising them alone and lost it all..
I had just enough to protect them in court, get us into a smaller home and keep them on the right track. They made an economy where I earned enough money to overcome even the toughest circumstances, with an economy from the bottom UP.
And when I met my wife—my First Lady—it was because of President Obama’s economy that we were able to get into another good home and take the kids to Disneyland, pay bills and recover. Yes, we rent our home. Yes, since Trump, and now COVID we’ve struggled once again...
I know what it is to make that commute and raise children alone as a Dad. I know what it is to see a bottom-Up economy save families like mine from the brink and lift us up. It’s not just my family I’m fighting for in electing #BidenHarris2020 - it’s every family like us.
The fact is when a high school drop out that grew up poor, with a little bit of public college can earn enough to support a family of 5 (and 2 dogs), the rich thrive anyway—because we pay our bills and can afford their products. It’s our taxes that need the breaks. Not the rich..
When you vote—ask yourself not just if your own family is doing better 4 years later: Ask if the rest of us are. Trump’s economy took my tax credits, and thanks to his mismanagement my business stopped. How many of us can survive more? #BidenHarris #VoteHimOut2020 #VoteBiden
Listen to everyday Americans. We’re telling you we can’t survive another four years. What 12 years of Trickle Down did in the 80’s, Trump has done in just 4. Everyday people like @_Jacquelyn2020 and I have a voice. And millions like us need #BidenHarris

Jacquelyn’s moment may have been destiny—a by-chance moment that changed her life—but whether you fought to be heard or an act of God showed you can make a difference...this election is about YOU. Your future. Your wages. Your families. Vote for The People #wtpBiden #BidenHarris

Trump’s free-for-all for the rich and the weirdness of a post-Rockefeller Republican brand that embraces a trashy, brash and embarrassing Trump because: Resentment at the poor and immigrants. And at the bottom, poor White trash hear themselves in him...

newyorker.com/magazine/2020/…
Trickle down has always been about the rich being the most important and the everyday worker being a burden, but Trump’s brand kicked everything else to the curb. Why do low wage earners support Trump? Because he says what they think and it’s full of resentment. That simple.
Everyday Americans are being robbed to pay the rich, and it’s only worse with #COVID19 Now with skyrocketing unemployment and already low salaries, we need a President that puts wages and the working class first #Biden2020

This is my son. I’m very proud of him. He has ADD, and a severe stutter. He hasn’t stuttered in a month. He has been misjudged by his teachers and school. I, myself, slip on my words and “YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN” is a common Dad-ism here. This is very personal for me. When I do it,
We blame it on my ditsy mind or my part polish family inside joke of a Polish 🇵🇱 stereotype of being absent minded. “Pick up the linkin life”, “the wood thingies”. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. When he does it, though, they treat him like he’s slow. For two years he had his karate belt..
The white “participation” belt, taken away because he couldn’t sit still when NOT being given an instruction. From 7-8 years old his school’s karate program deprived him of his basic participation white belt not for not learning the teachings, but for forgetting in between
