4 years ago I started this account on a knee jerk reaction to what was happening with the NPS accounts. I could not let a nefarious actor own this space. At first I had no idea what I was in for. The account had no followers till @StollmeyerEU picked up on us.

Thank you Alice, I personally value your friendship and am always amazed at what you accomplish.

While this was happening, I started to build my team and start the account with an education of what the FDA actually does and how they think.

One night I was truly scared about what I had started. I was sitting in a brew pub with a friend and happened to look at the account. The followers were sky rocketing! I did not know that @CNN had dropped our name that night as account to follow.

I showed my friend and they asked what I was going to do? My reply “I am the first male in my family to not serve the US; This is my service”

I steeled my nerves and set forth with a plan to inform on, comment on and protect the @US_FDA

Outside of my team, no one new who I was for years. When trump started to attack us it got real serious for me and my team.

One afternoon I was in a coffee shop posting to the account. I didn’t take notice at first but FBI was there profiling me. Yes the US gov knows who I am.

They have made their presence known off and on but not once have they made me feel like I was doing something that would make me an enemy of the state. Only trump and his followers have done that.

Our next big spot was joy was being vetted as one of the 12 OG accounts by @brooklynmarie. Love you lady! You’re the best bad ass I know.

Brook brought me into the #AltGov family and for that, I will always be indebted. The Alt family has kept me sane and fighting, together we have made a huge impact.

This account has survived 3 commishes and the best part is, not one of you fuckers know who I am! You all hate me but can’t touch me. @ScottGottliebMD @NCIDirector @SteveFDA

I also want to mention @DrSturg, she is writing a book on me and the other AltGov accounts. She even did a @TEDTalks on us. I got a mention! What a bright spot. One day we will meet Dr. S and I will ask you a medical question. 😂🤣😂🤣😜

Fast forward to #COVID19 I will never forget this I was with friends celebrating a birthday in late January. I checked the WHO to see what they were saying about the epidemic in China. That night they announced transmission was human to human.

I showed my friends and explains what it all meant. That were 2months behind on getting ahead of this, that we needed to start preparing for large scale mitigating measures. And that we needed to live it up because it’s going to suck soon.

A few weeks later behind the scenes of this account I was helping peer review covid papers with a small group of fellow scientist. This is when I came up with a sobering covid stat and a death prediction. You can go back and see these if rather not re-visit them.

I posted these facts and was instantly hit with attacks over how wrong I was. I understand the fear in what I was saying but we had/have no time for anything but brutal honesty in this.

A few weeks later, I got word that my dog died and I didn’t get to say goodbye...

... that same night NY posted their death stats and my stat was correct, which made my death count prediction correct. That night, I ended up in a friends yard, drunk and crying.

Right now I’m crying

2020 has been a hell of a year. And it’s going to get worse covid wise. With that said, I am committed to keeping this account running till we are through the Pandemic.

To complete my service to the US, I would like to ask my political and influence friends a favor.

I have a large and trusted voice a voice that we will need to get past this pandemic. Please use me to help get the word out. Have me on your podcast, have me as a pundit...

I will do all of this for free, for you and those that you love. We need leadership and a voice with it. I can provide that.
