I am currently worried about cold surfaces becoming areas for fomite (shit you touch) transmission of the Rona. This idea has been rolling around in my brain for a while but honestly I though we would not be here with the cases we have.

Now the story claims that a person was infected with covid by handling the frozen fish.
That is the clue right there. If you know how fish are processed and shipped. Fish unlike meat or veggies is processed 100% cold

It’s processed in a cold room, then packaged cold, flash frozen and shipped or daily shipped all in a cold environment.

I can see mid winter with sustained temps below 40 deg out of direct sunlight, a doorknob acting like a frozen fish.
How can you protect yourself from this? Break the habit of touching your face with your hands. Like a kid, start wiping your snot nose with a sleeve, wash/ sanitize your hands after touching a doorknob.
It really is the simple things that will keep your safe everyone, you just have to pay attention to your actions.
