1) Show in actions, not in words, that your era will substantially differ from Donald Trump's! This means that you need to set aside his unlawful, unconventional and unilateral approach to world affairs and abide by U.S commitments and international law in "good-faith".
2) To depart from the Trump era, you will need to turn the page on this remarkably dark chapter for international statesmanship, multilateralism, international law, good-faith diplomacy & constructive engagement. But to turn the page, he'd first need to unclench America's fist!
3) Do not let warmongering lobbies shape your views and policies on Iran! The U.S has for many years allowed these lobbies to influence its Iran policy and it has persistently failed.
4) The "Maximum pressure policy" was the most these lobbies could produce and had to offer; And it brought nothing but infamy and isolation to America while failing to produce a single productive result. Don't let these lobbies roam near the White House anymore! #Turn_the_page!
5) Trump's "maximum pressure" on Iran was a cruel and inhumane policy that amounts to economic terrorism and "crimes against humanity", especially amid a deadly pandemic.
6) Please acknowledge that, and do not let neocons and anti-Iran lobbies convince you that you should "build on" the "achievements" of this sadistic and illegal policy and use it as "leverage" to exert further pressure on Iran. You can be better than that!
Aside from the fact that you campaigned on restoring dignity to America, you may know by now that Iran will not respond to pressure! It didn't under Trump, and it won't under your administration!
7) Multilateralism is the way to go! But multilateralism is not synonymous to "coalition building" and the exploitation of international mechanisms to gang up on other states and exert illegal pressure on other nations.
8) Multilateralism means identifying "common global challenges" and using international mechanisms in good-faith to solve those challenges! Do not let warmongering lobbies convince you otherwise. The Biden era should not be the continuation of the Trump's era by other means!
9) Again, Iran will respond positively to respect and will react negatively to any sort of pressure, threat and duress. Recognize Iran's concerns, identify common grounds and implement measures that would restore U.S credibility. Please remember: "Goodwill begets goodwill"!
10) Take Iran's diplomatic proposal and initiatives seriously! Anti-Iran lobbies will try to convince you that Iran's proposals are just window dressing. That's not true.
11) Iran has tabled a number of very serious and comprehensive initiatives to solve regional problems with its neighbours, which were all outright dismissed or ignored by Trump and his like-minded allies in the region.
12) The Hormouz Peace Initiative (HOPE) is one of them. It encompasses issues like terrorism, free navigation, arms race, collective security and non-proliferation. Instead of selling arms to Saudi Arabia and Persian Gulf littoral states, entice them to talk to Iran!
13) This will simultaneously solve many of US-Iran bilateral differences! It will also set the ground for further engagement.
