Is it wrong to 'wish' for a high case count so our missing in action PHO is roused from her slumber and starts to take action to prevent the spread of the virus and its more transmissible and deadlier variants? @CDCofBC #COVID19#BCpoli
I don't want a high case count but that's seems to be the only metric our PHO looks at before taking any action.
Seniors left to die alone, disabled not vaccinated on poverty benefits, essential workers (mostly women and racialized) without paid sick leave or vaccine protection.....
"...and to keep as much as possible going in our communities."
The real reason. "as much" = economy
Huge fail. Without a health customer base businesses are experiencing hardships across the board. @CDCofBC@Fraserhealth

Maybe a career in journalism isn't your thing.
The idea we should roll over and accept everything coming from the govt or heath authorities is anthesis to a functioning democracy, even in a pandemic.
Should we accept 800+ daily cases & double-digit daily deaths without question?
Shame on those in the media suggesting that.
Data transparency.
We lack occupational data for positive cases, no data on school cases other than a notification letter, no data at the city-level while other provinces drill down to the neighbourhood-level, no data on race or income level.
