This isn't "dissent", @dimitrilascaris. These are illegal actions.

And where is the so-called 'left' opposing "live with it". Total silence.

Leftists must oppose the suppression of dissent—even when we disagree with the dissenters canadiandimension.com/articles/view/… #BCpoli #cdnpoli I've been very disappointed with every GPC leadership candidate.

None of them are speaking out on the unethical, immoral, unequal 'live with it' pandemic approach.

The 'left' seems to want to obey govt at all costs in this country.

Trust in media. It was already low pre-covid and it's gotten much much worse. Some media are playing victim, taking no responsibility for the mess they helped create.

"covid is spread by droplets, close contact"
"little in-school transmission"
"endemic"
"mild"
#BCpoli This thread is about vaccine mandates and how media has contributed to the govt's 'divide society, spread misinformation so we can live with it' nonsense.

Has any media said vaccines are by informed consent? Of course not.

They are though.

That thread was bizarre, in Canada happening now. We have literal insurrectionists, being either directed but certainly supported by US citizens with unknown links to the US govt or US security agencies.

What the hell is going on in this country? I notice a few self-described progressives/socialists/leftists in this country now supporting the insurrectionists. How their 'rights' are being somehow violated.

The political pendulum is being remade. There is no more left/right split. The left has all but disappeared

If Canada had chosen #COVIDzero instead of 'live with it' and a 'vaccine-only' strategy, none of this would be happening.

It's the failure of PHOs causing all of this. @CDCofBC

Countries choosing elimination, enjoy more freedoms, less restrictions & better economic outcomes. The forced vaccination scheme PHOs chose for us is failing to protect us and it's causing a societal divide, where no divide was there before, breaking up families, marriages, livelihoods.

As our healthcare systems crash around us.

Paris agreement: 30% reduction on 2005 ghg emissions by 2030.

BC's commitment: 2005 ghg = 64.682 * 0.7 = 45.277mt

Where is BC? 2018 ghg emissions - 67.924 mt or 19.4046 mt short

So much wrong with this study. Mitigation is used 15 times, elimination is not used once.

Mitigation is the wrong strategy.

In-person schooling and COVID-19 transmission in Canada's three largest cities medrxiv.org/content/10.110… #COVID19 #BCpoli #cdnpoli This was the first red flag for me, the consensus they reached. Is it wrong to 'wish' for a high case count so our missing in action PHO is roused from her slumber and starts to take action to prevent the spread of the virus and its more transmissible and deadlier variants? @CDCofBC
#COVID19 #BCpoli I don't want a high case count but that's seems to be the only metric our PHO looks at before taking any action.

Some News1130 employees have a problem with public input, it seems.

Maybe a career in journalism isn't your thing. The idea we should roll over and accept everything coming from the govt or heath authorities is anthesis to a functioning democracy, even in a pandemic.

Should we accept 800+ daily cases & double-digit daily deaths without question?

Shame on those in the media suggesting that.

Upon first glance this looked like essential workers could be assured daycares would be fully funded, open and accessible for their children during the #COVID19 crisis sweeping our province & country.

But the details paint the opposite picture.
#bcpoli The "seven times their average monthly funding from government" sounds like a large govt commitment for daycares.
