As per Sheikh Rasheed, when #PTIGovernment prepared a parliamentary resolution and shared it with #TLP, they rejected it outright without any room for reconsideration.
@ShkhRasheed also accidentally called #TLP #TTP; when corrected by a journalist, he said it's one and the same..

Sheikh Rasheed was talking abt @PunjabAssembly resolution to #BanTLP when he accidentally said he sent a summary to the Cabinet to ban "#TehreekETaliban".
When corrected to #TehreekELabaik, he wanted to say "it's one and the same" but ended up saying it slipped from his tongue 😋

Sheikh Rasheed's concluding remark: #TLP is not being banned because of political considerations, it is being banned (under Anti Terrorism Act 1997) because of their role and their actions.
