Her claim that children are “not at risk” is completely disingenuous & seeks to provoke parental fear & angst.

5/ And the argument that children should not be vaccinated against #COVID19 to protect others too reveals the increasingly selfish nature of #UsForThem’s campaign.

Do they object to their children having the #FluVaccine which is partly given to reduce transmission?

6/ Thankfully serious illness/death in children from #COVID19 is still rare. But we don’t know that’s the case for the #IndianVariant & we know that a significant number get #LongCovid, about which we understand very little.

7/ And even if you are able to block out the physical harms to individuals/families/communities by letting #coronavirus run in an unmitigated fashion through an unvaccinated population, until we vaccinate children there will be significant ongoing disruption to their education.

Our children deserve the same protection as adults to a disease that can randomly kill & cause long term debilitating illness.
Anyone who suggests otherwise should read up on Polio, Diphtheria, Measles, Whooping cough, Meningitis...

9/ #UsForThem don’t have the welfare of your children at the heart of their campaign. They’re backed by the #antimask #antivax #antilockdown brigade who’ve turned a blind eye to the true horrors caused by #COVID19 & see others’ suffering as reasonable collateral damage.
