Court is currently considering the plea alleging that certain displaced victims have not been able to go back to their houses due to violence.

Advocate Priyanka Tibrewal says she has been able to take around 10- 12 persons back to their houses.

Court says if someone is prevented from enjoying comfort of his house, it does have a larger impact.

AG Dutta Says court being misled and he should be allowed to file his affidavit

"All affidavits mechanical. The incidents alleged have not happened. 125 affidavits filed in one day. Affidavit does not say fee has been paid. These don't have evidentiary value as per notary rules"

Dutta says if Court wants to involve the third party, it should be state legal services authority and Tibrewal should not be made part of the committee

Court says it won't have any politically affiliated person in the committee.

Court dictating order: The petition is regarding 200 persons who were not allowed to be go back to their.

AG Dutta disputed the claim stating 39 have returned to their houses.

Such factual issues cannot be decided based in affidavit

People have right to go back to their homes and live peacefully. It is duty of State to ensure that law and order is maintained.

A committee of three officers be constituted to examine and report back to this court.

The persons who are allegedly not being allowed to go back to their houses will communicate on email of West Bengal Legal Services Authority.

The committee shall then contact concerned police officer to ensure that persons are allowed to go back to their houses.

It shall also submit a report to the Court in this regard.

Those persons should be allowed to enter and live peacefully in their houses and concerned officer will be held responsible if there is violation of law and order

BREAKING: Calcutta High Court orders Constitution of three member committee to enable persons displaced by West Bengal post poll violence to return to their homes.

They should help persons go back to their house and submit a report to court, High Court orders.

Matter to be heard again on June 2.
