I'm angry that so many colleagues have been laid off. I'm angry that they've been laid off and disappeared by our senior administrators, and that those of us still here are not permitted to grieve. /2

I'm angry that senior administration have been hiding the severity of the attack on @UAlberta for at least three years, & continue to gaslight the significance, broadcasting pleasant euphemisms like "UofA for Tomorrow", feeding Albertans fake hope where there is real despair. /7

I'm angry that the public are being misinformed, that decades of taxpayer-investment in our public universities is being squandered; that our higher education system, with it's leading researcher infrastructure & excellence in instruction will be so damaged we'll never rebuild /8

I'm angry that we've lost so many Indigenous faculty members, who've felt their careers would be safer elsewhere. / 9
