Hundreds of people without tickets pushed past barricades & stewards in an attempt to get into Wembley stadium

A BBC presenter - who described the fans as “boisterous” - said no one without a ticket got in but “the stadium was locked down for 40 minutes”

Scenes of crowds on Wembley Way, in Leicester Sq & in pubs across the UK are worrying given the spike in #COVID19 cases

There were 31,772 new cases today &

To put things into perspective, this was only the Euros

European Cup matches are more important than intn’l friendlies but less important than World Cup Qualifiers

The World Cup is the only tournament that really matters
