1] Disappointing to see @TabithaMortonWE stating that Sani's What Is A Woman is a 'MUST read'
The article starts with a bizarre interpretation of Bouvoir, & suggests 'British Feminism' has toxic corners when it comes to women discussing their own sex
@TabithaMortonWE The article uses images of the Hijra. India ruled in 2014 that a third gender marker & 3RD spaces, so no, this is not the 'corners of British feminism' discussing this
Many Hijra are openly gay men because of Indian homophobia (homosexuality is illegal)
6] The article suggests there is a huge variation within each sex. It is unclear what this means. What is true is that DSD conditions affect only .018% of the pop
8] The article also points out that women come in all shapes & sizes
Well yes.
This does not mean that some are more or less female- that is unless you include males in that cohort
Sexism is NOT suggesting there are two sexes, it is suggesting that those sexes belong in boxes
To naval gaze about the metaphysical nature of the female sex, whilst girls are excluded from education, aborted, put in menstrual huts, have no protection from male violence because of their SEX is the worst type of privilege feminism
This is not 'doing politics differently'..

'Out of 837 submissions there are only six (that I can find and I did trawl through all of them but could well have missed one), from organisations that work within the male violence against women movement'
Women-only spaces provide a physically and emotionally safe environment that is vital to survivors’ recovery and empowerment after experiencing domestic and sexual violence and other forms of violence against women and Girls
Lesbian's are same sex attracted. In law this is described as an orientation. This is key as this embeds the idea that lesbianism is not a choice or a kink.
It is this terminology that has protected lesbians (in law) against conversion, punishment, shaming & corrective rape.
When #Stonewall changed their definition from 'same sex attracted' to 'same gender attracted' (to include males) this undermines the legal protections as listed above
Essential legal protections that #lesbians fought for 💔
The callous nature of our 'immigration' system manifests itself into daily horrors
When we campaigned for the end of Yarl's wood style detention facilities did we imagine that this would lead into a further lowering of standards in 'open accommodation'
UK’s history shows that they disregard such concerns unless forced to revise its decisions by campaigners/courts
100's of torture victims, people with HIV, pregnant women, children & people with serious medical problems have been swallowed by the brutal detention machine
The opening testimony from at the @WEP_UK members assembly on self ID stated that 'trans women face the same risks from men as women and girls do'....🧐.
The UK is one of the safest EU countries to live. In fact there were no reported transgender murders in the UK at all in 2016. Since the start of the Trans Murder Monitoring project in 2008 there has been on average just under 1 transgender person murdered in the UK each year.
The question we can now ask is whether transgender people at a higher risk of being killed than the average person? The data analysis suggests that they are not.
