#Bhudeswari or #Neel-Saraswati ,appears in a lustrous dark blue color shining like ten million suns, she is cool like ten million moons and her sudden appearance seems like ten million lightning flashes. She is enriched with all types of knowledge existing in this Universe.
Maharshi Vasistha", who was the son of Lord Brahma (creator of the Universe), introduced the worship procedure of Goddess Tara, therefore #Maa is also well known as "Vasistharadhita".
She is the abode of every knowledge in the entire Universe.
To get a sight of the Lotus Feet of the Mahavidya or Goddess, one has to practice Sadhana at the place where the third eye of #Sati mata had fallen and where #Dwarka river is flowing in north direction. Now this place is well known as #Tarapeeth .
The temples of #Barakar is a fine example of ancient temple architecture found in #West Bengal . A dusty & congested town in the midst of coal mines, Barakar boasts of a surprisingly majestic group of stone-built medieval temples of SHIKHAR or REKH-DEUL style.
The temple complex is known locally as “BEGUNIA” temples because of the similarity of the shapes of the temples with “BEGUN”(the fruit of the eggplant).There are altogether 4 temples in the complex. First two are typical REKH-DEUL style .
They were built around 1461 A.D, intricately decorated with geometric designs & idols of different Hindu Devi & devtas figures, as well as of some animal figures. There are 3 #Shivlings & an idol of Maa #Kali in the first mandir .

मातंगी देवी श्री लक्ष्मी का ही स्वरूप हैं,पशु, पक्षी, जंगल, आदि प्राकृतिक तत्वों में उनका वास होता है।मुनि #मातंग की पुत्री के रूप में जन्म लेने के कारण उनका नाम मातंगी पड़ा। देवी गहरे नीले रंग या श्याम वर्ण की हैं। अर्ध चन्द्र धारण करती हैं,उनको कमल का आसन भी प्रिय है।

चतुर्भुजी देवी गुंजा के बीजों की माला धारण करती हैं।दायें हाथों में वीणा तथा मानव खोपड़ी धारण कर रखी हैं तथा बायें हाथों में खड़ग धारण करती हैं।तोते हर समय उनके साथ रहते हैं जो वाणी और वाचन के प्रतीक हैं।

#Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, born Gadadhar Chattopadhyaya a 19th Century religious leader and reformer, who was a devotee of Maa #Kali.
He was a priest at the #Dakshineswar Kali Temple . For him, Kali was not a deity, she was a living reality.
Ramakrishna’s consciousness was so crystallized that whatever form he wished became a reality for him. Maa Kali danced in front of him, she ate from his own hands, she came when he called, and she left him dripping with ecstasy.
At the age of 23, he got married to five-year-old Saradamani , She later became his spiritual counterpart known as Sarada devi.
His teachings emphasised that the realization of the existence of God is the supreme goal of all living beings.
The Ganga Dussehra is one of the most auspicious festivals in Hinduism. Mother descended to earth to purge the cursed souls of Bhagiratha's ancestors on this day ,she has the purity of heaven. After descending on the Earth, the purity of heaven came along with her.
Devotees worship & offer prayers on this day, by taking the holy dip to attain salvation.
Ganga Dussehra falls on the tenth day of the Shukla Paksha of Jyeshta month ,the festival is celebrated a day before the Nirjala Ekadashi.
Thousands of lamps are lit in the flowing water of Ganga to mark the peace and goodness.Pitru Puja is also performed on this day .Devotees who recite the Ganga Stotra on this day, while standing in the water of Ganges, gets relieved from all the sins.
#सनातन धर्म में #विद्यारंभ संस्कार
शुभ घड़ी में #कलम-दवात और #पटरी का पूजन करने के बाद ही प्रारंभ होती थी । पाठशाला में जब बच्चा प्रवेश लेता था तब दूधिया भरी दावात और #नरकट की बनी कलम होती थी। गांव में गड़ही और जलाशय के किनारे नरकट होता था।
पका नरकट काटकर बच्चे खूबसूरत कलम गढ़ते थे। उसके उपरांत लकड़ी की काली पटरी पर सफेद दूधिया में कलम डूबो कर सुंदर लिखाई की जाती थी .
खास बात यह थी कि पांचवी कक्षा तक नरकट और कीरिच की कलम से लिखने के चलते लिखावट बेहद सुंदर होती थी।
परंतु आज प्रचलन में न कलम रही ना दवात। नरकट आज भी है पर इसका प्रयोग महज मड़ई निर्माण तक ही रह गया है। पटरी और कलम-दवात का प्रचलन बंद होने से शिक्षा भी प्रभावित है .. परम्परायें पुरानी होने के साथ धीरे-धीरे खत्म होती चली जाती है ,पर बच्चों को इसी में आनंद आता था।
