I’m going to talk about disabilities as they relate to design, shortly.

It falls short to be socially conscious if we do not care about, and are not socially conscious of accessibility for all people on the web.

When we “MySpace” the web, we can harm people. Video soon. #ADA

Speaking from a professional view as someone who specializes, teaches and consults in this field at the highest levels, a word about Caring enough to make political design Accessible to ALL people.

It’s about caring about the viewer. #ADA #Disabilities

All others, please watch, share and be activists for accessible design that doesn’t exclude people with Disabilities, sight or color sensitivity.

Political design isn’t about self-expression. If we care about people, we need to be considerate. Simple. Easy.

Learning disabilities, comprehension…11% of the web not being able to see the design, poor-of-sight, and the elderly.

They matter.

When you post an image on Twitter, there is a +ALT button in the bottom right. This is for meta descriptions.

Meta descriptions tell people who are completely blind (and their devices) what’s in the image. Always fill that out.

Sadly, this will be my least popular post.
Not a lot of people want to be better.
Most people prefer staying the same, being told they’re great, and don’t want to grow.

If I care, I have to grow. I have to be better. I have to improve. That’s what inclusion & empathy are about.
