Who would begrudge Dr. Bonnie Henry of time off or an extra-curricular hobby? But she is a public servant who keeps playing the "private citizen" card, in order to escape from reasonable public scrutiny of her very public brand-building activities connected to her PHO job.

In 2011, @christyclarkbc attended Game 7 of the #StanleyCupFinal. She had no official role in the event. The conflict of interest commish (a family friend) said it was OK and agreed she was there in a public role. She was a spectator, not a horn-cranker or puck-dropper. #bcpoli
