The US Department of Treasury designated Ismatullah Khalozai, a financial facilitator for #ISKP, who has provided support to ISKP’s operations in #AFG by facilitating international financial transactions& movement of #foreign_fighters who seek to escalate tensions in AFG& region.
"For 2 years, Ismatullah Khalozai operated a #Turkey-based #hawala business to transfer funds to finance #ISKP operations. Previously, he operated a #UAE-based financing scheme to generate funds in support of ISKP.
Khalozai has also carried out human smuggling operations 4 ISKP."
Meanwhile, the US @StateDept designated three more #ISKP leaders including the Emir (Sanaullah a.k.a. Shahab al-Muhajir), Cheif Propagandist (Sultan Aziz Azam) and Head of Kabul Operations (Mawlawi Rajab), as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (#SDGT).
Graduated from Kabul University, #Sanaullah is a Pashtun, originally from Shakardara District of #Kabul, who took over the leadership of the #ISKP after the founder leader Hafiz Saeed Khan & his successors were killed/arrested in #AFG between 2015 & 2020.
Sultan Aziz Azam, a University graduate from Nangarhar, was serving as journalist/announcer in media in his home province before 2015. He joined ISKP as spokesman&chief propagandist, and was announced dead in 2018 (voanews.com/a/islamic-stat…) but still alive.
About Ismatullah Khalozai, the open sources wrote that he is originally from Baghlan-e Jadid District of Northern Baghlan Province.
I couldn't verify the info about Khalozai as well as Mawlawi Rajab, as they were not well known before being designated by the US as terrorists.
In SM, there was a discussion about a (fake) ID card of ISKP leader Engineer Sanaullah, showing that he was a member of the Special Guards of former VP @AmrullahSaleh2. Saleh in a tweet talked about Sanaullah but still didn't reject that ID card as fake.
Another (fake) card in the SM is identifying the ISKP leader, Sanaullah, as deputy of a Business Company. This card is actually a pistol permit.
It is more likely that the both mentioned cards were fake and used by ISKP's Sanaullah to foul the Afghan security forces by then.
*fool
Correction:
The issuence date of the (fake) ID card attributed to the current #ISKP leader is showing that he was a bodyguard of the first VP of AFG is March 2019. It means, he was bodyguard of VP Dostum, not @AmrullahSaleh2, as Saleh took over the VP position at the end of 2019.
As @Mukhtarwafayee mentioned in the below tweet, the name and signature of the authority on the ID card attributed to Sanaullah, also belongs to the chief guard of @MDustom, not @AmrullahSaleh2.

#Taliban didn't comment on operation against ISKP in Kandahar yet.
The photos of the dead bodies of alleged ISKP members, killed by the TB in Kandahar, are horrific& I am not going to publish it here.
