An alleged #TTP member wrote on twitter:
"Over the past few days, there have been reports of talks between the TTP& #PAK government/army:
* There is no progress yet.
* Prisoners release is the first condition but not fulfilled yet.
* About talks, all TTP is on the same platform.

* Both parties don't confirm talks to media, for caution.
* The #IEA may be a mediator, but neutral. Even it is possible that IEA as a mujahidin movement be more in favor of TTP.
* Attempts to spoil negotiations, make it unconditional& to prove it failed, are already neutralized.

* TTP will definitely not hold unconditional or non-Sharia talks, inshallah."

The first official statement from #TTP about the #negotiations between the group& #PAK Govt/Army:
"A meeting of the leadership of Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is underway regarding talks& ceasefire.
A formal statement will be issued after the meeting," the TTP spokesman said.

#TTP in a statement released details of the progress in #negotiations with #Pakistan Government:
(1) The Parties have agreed to set up Negotiation Committees. These Committees shall seek to advance the next course of action & the Negotiation Process at the request of the Parties.

(2) There shall be a one month ceasefire by the parties, from 9th November to 9th December, which may be further extended with the consent of the parties.
(3) It is necessary to observe the ceasefire on both sides.
(4) The IEA is playing the role of mediator between TTP&PAK Govt.

My comment:
The language/wording of the #TTP statement on negotiations seems more political and peaceful, as there is no explicit mentioning of bringing #Sharia-based government in #Pakistan.
Also there is no precondition (e.g. #Prisoners_Release) for the ceasefire from TTP side.

#TTP leader Mufti Noor Wali Mahsood in a letter called on all 'Mujahidin' of the group to observe #ceasefire with Pakistani security forces for one month, starting from today November 09.
