#Economic_Collapse #Afghanistan's #currency falls to record low (1 USD = 99.5 AFN) & a private bank (Maiwand Bank) reportedly collapsed.
The world is not going to recognize Taliban's government& TB don't accept an inclusive govt.
AFG nation is suffering!
U.S. Dollar's exchange rate with Afghanistan's currency in #Kabul's main money exchange market, Sarai Shahzada, crossed the limit of 100.
One #USD was exchanged for 101 #AFN today noon. #Economic_Collapse #Afghanistan #Taliban
On Wednesday, one USD was exchanged for 104 AFN, in Kabul's Sarai Shahzada money exchange market.
This rate was a record low in the history of Afghani #currency in the past two dacades.
In October 2002, new AFN banknotes were introduced with the exchange rate of 49 AFN for 1 USD.
Hasibaullah Ludin, a money changer in Sarai Shahzada, #Afghanistan's largest currency exchange center, confirmed to @khaama that today noon, the exchange of Afghani #currency to the U.S. #dollar was banned (by government) in "Bidding" manner in the market.
#Sarai_Shahzadeh, #AFG's largest #currency exchange market, announced today that the US dollar exchange rate is 95 Afghani (1 USD = 95 AFN).
Early this week 1 USD was exchanged for 125 AFN but #Taliban's measures& weekly arrival of $20 million cash humanitarian aid controlled it.

State-run @BakhtarNA reported that one civilian was killed and two more were wounded in today's roadside IED #explosion in Tank-e Logar area, in PD8 of #Kabul City.
Local sources told me that the target of the explosion was a passing by vehicle of the #Taliban.
Meanwhile, the @emergency_ngo reported receiving three wounded patients, seemingly from PD16 explosion.
As both explosions were in the same direction (road), there could be some misreporting/mixing of information.
#Taliban:
"A special unit of the #Nangargar's Intelligence Department conducted a #special_operation on a hideout of armed robbers/kidnappers (#ISKP) in Maqam Khan area of #Behsud district, in which the head of the group named Shaheen was killed& 3 members of the group arrested."
Meanwhile, Nangarhar Spinghar News quoted eye witnesses saying that "on Saturday morning a clash broke out between the Taliban& #ISKP (on the outskirts of Jalalabad). According to local residents, 2 ISKP militants were killed, 1 wounded& 2 arrested. TB also sustained casualties."
#Taliban statement:
"Dr. Bashir, the provincial director of intelligence in #Nangarhar, said that 80 #ISKP members from 10 districts of the province had #surrendered, with conditional bail of local tribal elders, to the IEA and they were apardoned."
Since very early in the morning, #Taliban launched an operation against a suspected #ISKP hideout in #Jalalabad City. The clash is still ongoing.
The sound of small arms fire, RPGs& other explosions heard by locals in the area.
Details of the incident will come later. #Nangarhar
A pro-TB source released an alleged video of the ongoing clearing operation of the #Taliban agajnst an #ISKP hideout in #Jalalabad City:
Pro-TB sources:
"At least 4 #ISKP members, including a suicide bomber, were killed & Atta-u-Rehman, a well-known figure of the group, was arrested (in today's Taliban operation against their hideout in Jalalabad)."
Below is a video from the incident scene:
The US Department of Treasury designated Ismatullah Khalozai, a financial facilitator for #ISKP, who has provided support to ISKP’s operations in #AFG by facilitating international financial transactions& movement of #foreign_fighters who seek to escalate tensions in AFG& region.
"For 2 years, Ismatullah Khalozai operated a #Turkey-based #hawala business to transfer funds to finance #ISKP operations. Previously, he operated a #UAE-based financing scheme to generate funds in support of ISKP.
Khalozai has also carried out human smuggling operations 4 ISKP."
Meanwhile, the US @StateDept designated three more #ISKP leaders including the Emir (Sanaullah a.k.a. Shahab al-Muhajir), Cheif Propagandist (Sultan Aziz Azam) and Head of Kabul Operations (Mawlawi Rajab), as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (#SDGT).
Pro-Taliban accounts:
"Last night, #Taliban attacked four #ISKP hideouts in #Kandahar City.
The Taliban attacks on ISKP hideouts sparked clashes between the two sides, in Haji Arab & Al-Makkah Plaza in PD15, Deh Khwaja Manda in PD3 & Breshna Kot area in PD9 of Kandahar City."
...
A local journalist:
"Initial info from the TB operation against #ISKP in #Kandahar City shows that 4 ISKP fighters& 2 civilians were killed& about 10 other ISKP members were captured alive.
The operation is currently underway in PD4, near Saydal Hospital."
#Taliban didn't comment on operation against ISKP in Kandahar yet.
The photos of the dead bodies of alleged ISKP members, killed by the TB in Kandahar, are horrific& I am not going to publish it here.
In mid-October, ISKP claimed a deadly attack against a Shia mosque in Kandahar.
Today's #explosion in #Kabul took place near Ariana Kabul Wedding Hall in Kota-e Sangi area, PD5. While the target of explosion is not clear yet, the casualties are mainly civilians.
Below are links for videos of the incident scene:
Taliban's Ministry of Interior spokesman, Qari Saeed Khosti, told state-run Bakhtar News Agency that today morning, a civilian vehicle was targeted with magnetic bomb in Kota-e Sangi area of Kabul's PD5, injuring two civilians.
