The La Crete Chamber of Commerce sent a bus to #Ottawa to support to #convoytoottawa2022. It arrived 3 days ago from these screenshots taken today, well after it was known the protest was not peaceful or lawful.

Heard @HMcPhersonMP & @RaquelDancho speak on #CTV this re: protests. I really respect these two women in politics, they’re well spoken, tuned into their constituents & it was the first time I’ve heard them speak on a panel together. Super disappointed though.

Raquel stated it started peaceful (aside from traffic it pretty much did) and her constituency was supportive of peaceful protest in #ottawa. And it changed upon arrival. But then the question of @CPC_HQ support of the unlawful protest came up…

Another trucker: "I would start doing donuts and start knocking them down like bowling pins" (referring to cops).

My first time listening to .@RaquelDancho - she's hitting the nail on the head with some points (no response from elected officials) and quite well spoken. Might not agree with her party's policies all the time but I'm impressed - future party leader?

I know in #Alberta, hundreds of constituents have written their UCP MLA's & no response. Multiple letters and either no response or finally one, but it's a copy and paste push off - nothing to address their personalized concerns. The frustration does make sense.

In terms of @RaquelDancho saying ppl losing jobs b/c of the vaccine; if employers want to put these measures into place that is their choice. As it's a choice if workers choose not to get vaccinated - or pee in a cup for drug/alcohol tests for the jobs that require it.
