Statement from the commander of #Kyiv's defense this morning:
- Over past day, #Russia continued to attempt to break through city's defense.
- Tried to storm city outskirts.
- All attempts by Russian troops to achieve their goal failed.
- Enemy suffered significant losses

- Russian forces are demoralized and exhausted.
- We have shown we will protect our home from "uninvited guests".
- Situation under control.

Yesterday, Russian forces set up a Pontoon bridge near Demydiv, north of Kyiv, so they could move southward towards the capital.

Clashes were also reported in Makariv, as Russian forces tried to push south to encircle #Kyiv.
