"NSC discussed telegram from 🇵🇰 Emb in 🇺🇸 (...) informed by premier security agencies they found no evidence of any conspiracy (...) The NSC (...) concludes there has been no foreign conspiracy." /2

A probe is underway into links bw #Pakistan's former Amb in Washington to then #PTIGovernment. Probe to determine if Amb was a candidate for appointment as Foreign Secretary. His diplomatic cable was compromised to produce a #US conspiracy claim used by ex-PM to create a crisis.
Determining the nature of links between the former Ambassador in Washington and the #PTI-led government is key to understanding his role in creating a serious constitutional, political, and foreign policy crisis that has unsettled #Pakistan. /2
