Yet another day of war in dangerous situation, despite #Eurovision, Russian fascists kept attacking, shelling, bombed #Mariupol, #Azovstal

Russists sent more missiles. Killed more ppl, suffered more losses. Strategically Russists cant win, but they can keep killing us and apparently launched new attacks. There are reports they're sending their rare "Terminator" AFVs designed for urban combats... I have hopes & fears

Russists keep torturing #Mariupol, keep oppressing people in occupied territories. "usual" war stuff but even in such horrible times ppl watched #Eurovision, it really has always been a huge deal for ppl here in Ukraine, a holiday of music &diversity in May.

It was morally hard to watch #Eurovision, but also tempting to escape reality, but it painfully felt like two disconnected worlds, until #Kalush performed. Not just beautiful and meaningful song, but they aso sent important message to support Azovstal.

Even if #Eurovision would disqualify #Kalush for making a "political" statement, it was important thimg to say and they did the right thing. Ppl heard it. And not only ppl. Narcissistic Russians, hurt, started dropping bombs on Ukraine, Azovstal with messages about Eurovision

Just think of its significance, while creative people, artists from #Ukraine send message to the world and world hears it, narcissistic ruscist orcs, unable to isolate us, respond w/ literal bombs, writing gloating messages. They can only destroy. This is what ruscism/rashism is

But not only Kalush did send their important message, ppl actually voted for Ukraine and we won in #Eurovision (just like in battles for Kyiv and Kharkiv). It's more important than I thought initially to be honest. Frankly, I didn't believe ppl will vote for us because of war ofc

Tbh I thought that russia has poisoned our life for a long time in the long run. Not bc they would win (their options were between defeat from UAF & long costly occupation and defeat in guerilla war) but bc unless Russia is disarmed or cured, Ukraine is under permanent threat

When the entire world saw once again that no one can prevent a madman from invading with huge army with brutal WW2 methods and genocidal goals, who would invest in rebuilding country that is surrounded by enemy in the North and East and can be invaded at any time?

And yet, people support us. So it was even more than #Eurovision a very important show of support that gives hope for actually peaceful future after, maybe not this war, but after the next one if now Russia is not disarmed or better turned into free independent peaceful nations

So while Russists send bombs against us, free people send their support to us.
