#SoYouWannaCreateTTRPG?
Don’t worry about being original.
Plagiarism is stealing from one source. Originality is stealing from many.
Making a perfect copy is humanely impossible. Seek #Inspiration whenever you can find it.
Don’t worry too much about what’s good and bad. Look for stuff to steal, modify, reinterpret, corrupt.
A game you don’t like to play may teach you something yet.
A movie you don’t care about might have a cool character.
Keep your eyes open. We don’t see a lot.

Remember! #GameDesign is more of an #Art than science. #YMMV! Take the stuff that works for you. Try different things. Discover your style by creating stuff. By stealing from your favorite artists, you find yourself!
We have less than 5 days left on the #Folklore#Bestiary for #DnD 5e and #OldSchoolEssentials!
Creators from ALL AROUND THE WORLD are adapting their favorite creatures from their cultures to their favorite #TTRPG!
Being a Brazilian writing in English in a community that is predominantly US/Europe centered, was always hard.
Having a #TTRPG#Monster#Book inspired by the #Folklore of other people, being made in collaboration with people all around, was great!
We have a rich and varied #Folklore in Brazil. We have stories that trace all the way back the native people and their rich culture. Legends that came all the way from Africa. Stories and fantasy tales from Europe too. All mixed up in our imagination. To adapt that to #TTRPG? YES

Since I was mugged a few people asked me about how things are here, and I thought about sharing a little bit of my experience with violence here in Rio de Janeiro. However, even being considered “whitish” for Brazilian standards, I’ve seen and experienced some brutal stuff, CW!!!
I am Latino. Brazilian. Whatever. Definitely not white, especially if you put me side by side with a white person from the US or Europe. But in Brazil, I have a lighter skin, and that’s seen a white by most people. I am middle class, cis and heterosexual. So I am “privileged”.
I grow up as lower middle class, but since I was little I learned to live with death violence. Near my building when I was a kid we had the “Death Corner”. Two roads crossed each other and as crime is so common here, people seldom stop at traffic light, so they crashed.
@ForestedDepth is posting a personal conversation I had with then when they had a fight with a friend of mine and demanded I get involved. It’s completely edited and missing many parts. I don’t know that person.
I basically said in that particular fight (apparently they fight here a lot) I thought both were wrong and were needlessly aggressive.
They had began to associate with the known alt-right individual known as RPGPundit and yeah, I really don’t want any association with Pundit.
I never said anything ill about @ForestedDepths, and will continue to do so. I have enough problems of my own. But since they shared a personal conversation without my authorization, if you want to see the entire thing, without editing, PM me. It’s not worth your time though.
This is the first official module for this #SwordAndSorcery#TTRPG of modern reinterpretation of classic British #Games (and it’s compatible with Troika as well).
It’s a #Surreal#Heist adventure that can be played with different levels of difficulty and is procedural generated, allowing you to play it differently every time you sit at the table!
