#US/#NATO and #Ukraine risk poisoning all of Europe with radiation in bid to force #Russia from #Zaporizhzhia (#Zaporozhye) NPP. #IAEA covering for their western masters. High voltage lines were damaged and eventually cut today by repeated #Ukraine shelling and fires. 1/

This is the second time #US/#NATO/#Ukraine attempted to cut power at the plant. They cut three of four 750kV lines at #Zaporizhzhia NPP earlier this month by shelling. They wanted to cut *all* of them to force the plant to shut down. They did manage to damage electrical /2

equipment outside of Unit 4 forcing that reactor to trip from full power. #ZNPP personnel can't restart Unit 4 without extensive repairs. At that same time weeks ago, the #US/#NATO/#Ukraine radioactive psychos managed to cut another 330kV line going to the /3

#Zaporizhzhia (#Zaporozhye) coal-fired thermal plant switchyard. The thermal plant is not operating, but the line is connected to the rest of the grid at that switchyard. Yesterday, #US/#NATO/#Ukraine shelling near the nuclear plant's HV switchyard caused a forest fire... /4

visible on satellite imagery. That fire destroyed the equipment and cut the last two 750kV lines providing emergency power to the pant. #ZNPP did not 'disconnect' from the grid, it was intentionally *disconnected* through targeted shelling. Plant personnel and #Russians /5

managed to repair or reconnect at least one 750kV line - unclear if the line was damaged or HV switchgear in the yard. In any case, that caused Unit 5 to trip from full power. That's a manageable emergency as Unit 6 was still generating power for #Zaporizhzhia cooling pumps. /6

#Zaporizhzhia did manage to repair/reconnect one of the 750kV lines for an hour or so, but that eventually failed again, this time causing Unit 6 to trip from full power and stop generating, resulting in a total Loss Of Offsite Power (LOOP), and triggering activation of /7

the plant's emergency generators. The intent of #US/#NATO/#Ukraine all along had been to force #Zaporozhye into this critical emergency state just TO DENY ELECTRICITY to #Russian-held areas. A war crime.
Plant personnel (#Ukrainian, I might add) and #Russians worked /8

frantically to restore off-site power to #Zaporizhia. They were successful after a few hours by repairing/reconnecting the 330kV line running from the thermal plant's switchyard. Keep in mind that THAT line was previously cut by #Ukraine shelling. They will likely shell /9

it again (under #US/#NATO orders) in order to re-accomplish what they've been trying to do all along: chase #Russia out of the plant by cutting all off-site power to #ZNPP and demanding that #US/#NATO teams be put on the ground to 'fix' the problem. /10

Never mind the insanity of this nuclear blackmail - the incompetent #US/#NATO/#Ukraine 'replacements' may not be able to fix anything if the diesel generators are failing and the reactors/spent fuel pools lose cooling long enough. To suggest the #Russians staged all this to /11

'disconnect #Zaporizhzhia NPP from the Ukrainian grid' is preposterous. Loss of offsite power is a serious risk and removes layers of safety. Now any small issue at the plant could easily lead to catastrophe, destruction of the plant and widespread contamination. Problems at /12

one reactor's cooling leading to a radioactive release puts the other five reactors and spent fuel pools at risk. All the heroic efforts on earth won't matter if your face melts off by entering the plant. #Zaporizhzhia is only temporarily safe thanks to the #Russians and /13

plant staff trying to repair damage from #US/#NATO-ordered shelling, no matter what kind of munitions were used. A single simple medium-caliber mortar could result in a chain of events that lead to a meltdown. The #IAEA knows this but keeps covering /14

for the war crimes and infrastructure attacks of the #US, #NATO and #Ukraine - for the juvenile attempt to 'make #Russia leave' before they have de-militarized and de-Nazified #Ukraine and returned it to unaligned, neutral status. #Russia doesn't NEED #Zaporizhzhia or any /15

other #Ukraine infrastructure. #Russia is just trying to neuter the crazy-ass, well-armed neighbor's government without killing everyone in #Ukraine. Homicidal #US and #NATO have no such reservations, and will sacrifice everyone to kill #Russians and take over their country.

Make no mistake about the intent here: this is a plain-vanilla regime change op. #Ukraine (for them) is all about a bug-eyed homicidal fantasy of pressuring #Russians to overthrow their government (with #US/#NATO terroristic 'help'). It's just not going to happen. Ever.
