Wow! Another Maidan protester from Lviv testifies at Maidan massacre trial in #Ukraine that he was wounded by sniper from Maidan-controlled Zhovtnevyi Palace. He saw this sniper aiming at him. He was not allowed to continue because nobody is charged.. 1/

...with his wounding. Government investigation in #Ukraine determined based on their testimonies & investigative experiments that he & 76 other Maidan protesters were wounded from Maidan-controlled locations. It didn't charge anyone & denies that there were any snipers there. 2/

Anonymous reviewer goes Orwellian: Odesa massacre by far right is "incident" & not political violence, Donbas war is not civil war, OUN/UPA did not collaborate with Nazi Germany & OUN did not invent "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Heroes!" greeting. This all is Russian propaganda.

This is Orwellian since majority of Western scholars, based on overwhelming evidence, classify Donbas war as civil war with Russian intervention, OUN/UPA as Nazi collaborators, "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Heroes!" greeting as invented by OUN & Odesa massacre as political violence

I saw Mikhail #Gorbachev personally in mid-1990s in Washington DC bookstore during his book signing, when I worked as research assistant at nearby US Institute of Peace & circa 2000 during his speech at Woodrow Wilson Center when I worked there as Lipset’s research assistant 1/

I didn't talk to #Gorbachev during these events since I prefer to keep distance from politicians. But his glasnost policy saved me from expulsion from #Kyiv National Economic University in Soviet #Ukraine for my undergraduate thesis that was deemed politically dangerous. 2/

Department chair told me that I would be expelled from university in Kyiv in 1990 because I proposed to write my final thesis based on theories of Western economists & Max Weber. It was OK to write in Ukrainian 3/
