An overview of the daily events in the war in Ukraine. As it became known yesterday, Russia has launched a counter-offensive around #Vuhledar, south of #Donetsk. We have included this front as a map in the overview.

We start with the Russian losses as of today. A stunning update.
+950 personnel
+13 tanks
+52 APCs
+16 Artillery systems
Ukraine, #Turkey and the #UN agreed on the route for the movement of 14 ships for tomorrow as part of a grain deal, despite Russia's withdrawal from it.
In my opinion the best solution is to keep Russia out of the talks and let Turkey escort grain vessels under the UN flag.
In #Belarus, the transfer of Russian equipment to the city of Brest is recorded, where "#Kadyrovites" also arrived. At the moment, the number is not enough to threaten to impose battles on the defense forces at the border, but we are monitoring the movements.
➡️Both sides seem to hold off further advancement. AFU is slowly pressuring the front by mainly artillery/missile strikes depleting Russian forces.
➡️Residents of (Nova) #Kahkovka, #Aleshkinsky and #Golopristansky municipal districts were urged to leave immediately.
➡️Russian forces brought concrete bunkers to the #Kinburn Spit area.
➡️AFU is geolocated west of #Chervonopopivka
➡️The bridge west of #Krashnorichenske was blown up by 🇷🇺 indicating a retreat
➡️AFU rumoured to be in #Holykove, south of #Krashnorichenske
➡️Very minimal shelling reported. Recent offensives towards Terny were to buy time
➡️Railway bridge north of #Svatove was blown up by Russian forces. Indicating that AFU is close
➡️Minimal shelling from the Russian side.
➡️Me and @ukraine_map are trying to find out how the area north of #Petropavlivka looks like. More info soon!
➡️The 93rd mechanized brigade confirmed they pushed Russian forces 2-5KM from the eastern outskirts and that they established control over newly liberated area's
➡️Russian attacks mainly come from the south of #Bakhmut near #Opytne and #Ivangrad
➡️Russia has launched attacks on #Vuhledar via #Pavlivka.
➡️Russian forces reached the outskirts of #Pavlivka, and there it stalled. No further gains reported.
➡️AFU has a height advantage from Vuhledar.
➡️Other hot area's are Mariinka, Avdiivka and Pisky-Pervomais'ke
An overview of daily events in #Ukraine. A day that began with heavy rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities in retaliation for the attack on the port of Sevastopol. And the grain corridor resumed with ships under UN/Türkiye protection

Kirill Budanov, head and top man of Ukrainian intelligence, spoke in an extensive interview about the current military state of affairs in Ukraine, Putin's power and the possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia.
"Putin is unlikely to survive this war," Budanov said in an interview with military news website The War Zone. “At the moment there are talks in Russia about who should replace him,” he added. “The people of Russia will continue to support the government and its actions until...
Russia loses, immediately they will say that they have nothing to do with this and that their leaders were wrong.” Is there a chance that an attempt will be made to oust Putin? “Not now, but as soon as Russia suffers a defeat, it will happen quickly and Russia will change shape.”
A Russian missile fell in Moldovan territory. It happened in the village of Naslavcha near the border with Ukraine. Previously, there were no victims, but the windows of several houses were damaged, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
Location.
It looks like Ukrainian air defense shot down a missile which eventually fell into Moldovan territory.
General Staff reports 44/50 missiles are shot down. This is the first time i doubt the numbers communicated. More than 6 missiles have reached their target based on footage.
SitRep - 28/10 - "Airdefense has arrived, but we need more"
An overview of the daily events about the war between #Russia and #Ukraine. In special today we look at the front around #Svatove where news came out of a renewed AFU offensive.

As you are used to from me, we start with the losses of Russia. We are just 300 men losses away from the 70.000 mark. As a comparison, in the Soviet-Afghan war, the Soviet Union lost about 15.000 soldiers in 9 years. You do the math...
Lots of trophies and destroyed equipment appeared today. Some of them caught on tape.
1x #T90M
2x Russian field position with (152mm) ammo left
2x #2C33 Msta-SM
1x #T80BV
1x #BMP
Welcome to the daily overview of the events of the war in Ukraine. We zoom in on general matters and of course the front line. With today a special look at #Kupyansk-#Svatove, #Kreminna and #Kherson.

As usual we start with the russian losses, which are slightly less then usual. This most likely has to do with the bad weather, making advancements and therefore direct combat less easy. We expect there hasn't been much direct combat the last day.
Last evening the AFU managed to shoot down 19 #Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and one X-59 cruisemissile.
In total 20 drones were launched. That makes a hitrate of 95%.
