Cases this week: 1344 (-57 less than last week)
Positivity this week: 14.65% (-1.27% less than last week)

Hospitalizations: 1141 (increase of +51 since the last update)
*Last weeks number was however retroactively increased from 1090 to 1150 between updates.

ICU: 40 (increase of +4 since the last update)

Deaths:
44 new deaths being reported this week.
11 reported to have been from this week, the other 33 were added to the last 7 weeks. The week of Oct 18 now has 41 deaths. The last time we had 41 deaths in one week was the week of May 17. #covid19ab #covid19 #ab #abpoli #yeg

Comparatively, on Nov. 14, 2021, there were 524 Albertans hospitalized for COVID-19. This year there are more than double that amount, with 1,141 patients in hospital with the virus. Hospitalizations have not begun to decline.
