Many in #Kyiv were woken by loud explosions this morning, especially two blasts in the central area of #Ukraine's capital.

Mayor @Vitaliy_Klychko reports 15 of #Iran's Shaheed killer drones were shot down. But one did hit more critical infrastructure. Two injuries reported.

Today's strikes by #Putin are even more heartless as it's St Nicholas' Day. In view of New Year celebrations being largely a Soviet/Moscow doctrine, more and more families in #Ukraine focus on 19 December as the day for children to receive most presents. Instead they got this:

While #Russia's attack this morning was largely centred on central #Kyiv, there were other drones too.

All told, 30 out of 35 of the #Iran-made murder-missiles fired at #Ukraine were shot down.

One brave or foolhardy person was filming on their mobile when the first kamikaze drone struck central #Kyiv.

The #Shevchenkivskyi and #Solomianskyi districts of the #Ukraine capital were hit today.

The daily British intelligence update underlines just how brutal and unscrupulous #Russia is. Quite simply lives do not matter - people can be replaced with more mobilisation. Replacing armed vehicles and tanks is much more difficult. Yet still the brainwashed fight for Putin.

The photos show yet another ruined Russian helicopter.

For the second time in 3 days a Mi-8 was destroyed in a crash landing in #Russia. It happened today in the Siberian region of #Magadan, 8 time zones east of Moscow.

Just one of the three on board was injured.

Police in #Kyiv have released more photos following the drone attack on the capital this morning.

Andrii Nebytov, police chief for the capital region, says 9 houses were damaged as well as critical infrastructure. 3 people were injured.

12 people needed treatment when scaffolding collapsed in #rasnoznamensk. No reason was given for the accident, but several workers are said to be seriously injured....

I think it's the 5th time today, but the air alarm is sounding again in #Kyiv and indeed most of #Ukraine right now.

#Putin is currently flying to #Belarus. This is the likely reason for the raising of #Russia's aircraft, with both fighters and bombers currently active.

These craft are the reason for the air raid warnings over most of #Ukraine.

Some #Ukraine media reporting that the election campaign is underway.

It's seen that #Lviv businessman Heorhiy Kozlovsky has started an advertising campaign on Facebook seemingly designed to unseat Zelenskyy.

His motto "We're moving towards victory"

In #Russia they still happily feed their sons and partners to the meat grinder the war in #Ukraine has become.

This is in #Saratov an ordinary city in #Putin's Terrorist State. The monument on the "Alley of Heroes" is already full of victims' names, with others still "missing"

For the third time, #Russia has hit the local government building in #Kherson.

In #Belgorod the local government releases photos of the shelling last night of the village of Krasnaya Yaruga.

Of course they blame #Ukraine. Today Ukraine's military admitted they have conducted operations inside #Russia, but always on pure-military targets.

A couple of days ago I showed the Christmas Tree (Yalynka) being erected and lights tested in the centre of #Kyiv.

This afternoon was the big switch on. Yellow and Blue the new colours of Christmas!

Real problems for people in #Kyiv since the morning drone strikes.

Just one in five people has power and to make matters worse many have lost internet too even with fully charged devices and power banks they're still cut off.

I recently wrote about a controversial new planning law proposed by #Zelenskyy's "Servant of the People" party.

Today one MP, Halyna Yanchenko has resigned from the party after parliamentary leader Olena Shulyak visited a war hero in hospital when he criticised her bill.
