So I've been wondering more on the role of societies today vs the roles they had earlier on (thinking of societies established in 80s)
IMHO a lot of youth are interested today in civic participation but don't necessarily want to do it through registered associations
But that's why I was curious how many ppl are involved already with societies. Do you know where I can read or find out more about history..
..of associations & societies in Brunei? I very vaguely remember it briefly mentioned in a history textbook?

I know it's frustrating but honestly not sure "the older generation" exists, that there is any framework for an artistic career in Brunei :(
In the sense that a lot of this "older generation" are individuals doing what they can to push their own artwork or support others
(Individuals or small business entities) But not necessarily have the power of a larger body that can really do more for the art industry

So klingt die Zahl der Neonazis gleich ein bisschen besser ☝️
Gleich wurde übrigens mit "Überläufern" von organisierter Kriminalität und Neonazis bzw NPD verfahren, obwohl VS-Mitarbeiter selbst Fall nennt, in dem jemand aus Türsteher/Rockerszene auch im NPD-Ordnungsdienst aktiv war. #nsuuath

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation

#b 'Teknik menjawab' is not a series of rituals that you carry out to secure an A in the exam. You don't get guaranteed an A just through superficial actions like highlighting keywords or drawing meniscus or inserting isi tersirat.
The problem is students and teachers treat teknik menjawab as some sort of pseudo magical ritualistic gestures that will bring a certain outcome. Draw a pentagram, slaughter a chicken, and your wish will be granted.
Some remote Pacific Islanders in 1940s came in contact with Allied and Japanese soldiers who were more technologically advanced and thought the soldiers were gods who had many "cargo" (canned food, electronics, modern stuff)
