Big shoutout to @BenSasse for this line of questioning. He cut through a lot of noise and brought out an important and substantive gap.
That he did so without posturing or being confrontational or bombastic should not make us miss the big news he broke here.
The attorney general of the United States did not have a ghost of an answer to his very excellent and pertinent questions.
This is what oversight looks like. It's interesting to me that nobody seemed to notice it.
