This fight doesn’t end today. Maybe the bill goes straight to the House; maybe it gets conferenced. Votes can change, quickly.
Even the GOP tax scam passes, we have to sear it into public memory now so it’s still smoldering in Nov 2018.
Moreover, backlash has to be so fast and furious that the GOP *loses* legislative momentum in the aftermath, not gains it.
You know their next focus, right? Cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare. Our reax to tax bill have to be big enough to take that off the table.
If the GOP passes its tax scam, it’s our job to make it a pyrrhic victory. A one way ticket out of Washington.
