Y’all tryna travel in 2018? Here’s a thread on how I always find the cheapest flights.
I found a RT trip flight from Houston to Paris for under $450 TWICE. Flew to Mexico for $100. Arizona $30. I’ve found flights as low as $8. I gotchu!
My biggest tip? Be flexible with locations, airlines, dates, etc. Ditch the bucket list. Any travel is travel. You might find yourself discovering an amazing place you knew nothing about for the low.
Specific dates will lock you into prices. If you aren’t obligated to be somewhere on certain dates search for flights first, THEN choose dates based off what’s the most affordable. Then request time off based on that.
search far & wide. Use multiple sites! I like google.com/flights, skyscanner, and direct airline sites. Different sites will show different prices & also have diff features. Don’t get played out here!
Google.com/flights let’s you see flight prices by the day. So you can see what dates are cheapest! simply ICONIC 
Google.com/flights also let’s you search without entering a location. This means you’ll know how much it costs to fly to locations you never thought of. Might find yourself on a flight unexpectedly!
Google.com/flights also has this feature where you can pull up a map & view all destination prices at once . Once again giving you insane visibility.
Other really good search engines include @Skyscanner & @momondo
Major key : search often. If you search often, you’ll know if you’re getting a really good deal OR if you’re actually getting played.
Follow sites like @TheFlightDeal @airfarewatchdog @EscapeHouston . They tweet out crazy flight deals all day everyday. How I scored those cheap flights to Europe!
Get a travel credit card - only if you already have the cash bc going into debt over travel isn’t cool. @Chase sapphire reserve card got me like 4 free flights in 2017. Also free global entry, lounge access, tsa precheck & $300 yearly travel credit. LOVE this card!
If you travel light, check out budget airlines like Frontier, JetBlue, Ryanair(in Europe), Etc. Yea you won’t be gettin free peanuts, but you could be saving hundreds on airfare.
Forget those peanuts, honestly.

search in incognito mode! Websites can track your search queries & somehow they’re able to increase the price. If you search the same route & date often, the price will often double or triple. Use Google Chrome & open up an incognito tab to search so your history can’t be tracked
I keep thinking of more 🙊 Flight prices change daily, so search often! Keep checking. You can set price alerts on google flights & they’ll email you when the price drops!
