It took me awhile to realize, but people pay to get rid of unsexy and boring chores off their plate.
People pay for JIRA cos they hate chasing up people and tracking progress, they pay for Xero cos balancing ledgers sucks and they pay for Stripe cos dealing with banks and payment gateways is a nightmare.
And nobody gonna give you an extra dime just because you built it on React or used CSS grids or Service Workers.
Good technology choices help to increase growth and optimize profitability but don't fret over it on early days. Your only worry should be "are people paying for this shit?" #hardlessons
