2/ In the messages, Atomwaffen members refer to Woodward by his chat handle “Arn” and celebrate the killing of Bernstein. propub.li/2CD07ZI 
3/ Atomwaffen dreams of igniting a race war and preaches hatred of minorities, gays and lesbians, and Jews. They’re actively recruiting new members, including minors. 
4/ Group members praised Timothy McVeigh, who bombed a federal building in Oklahoma City in 1995, killing 168. 
5/ These are Atomwaffen members at a combat training camp in Nevada in January 2018. They called the event “Death Valley Hate Camp.” The group is careful to mask their faces and superimposes these graphics on their social media posts. 
6/ But we know who a few of them are and can show you their faces.
7/ Using the chat logs and other sources, we were able to identify several leaders of Atomwaffen. First, there’s the group’s leader John Cameron Denton, who uses the handle “Rape.” 
8/ Denton urged Atomwaffen members to “get the fuck off the grid.” A former member of the group said Denton wants to create a network of backwoods compounds from which Atomwaffen can launch attacks against targets in the U.S.
9/ Michael Lloyd Hubsky, the leader of the Nevada Atomwaffen cell, uses the handle “Komissar.” He chats about planning attacks on U.S. infrastructure, even writing that he has a classified map of the U.S. power grid. 
10/ Kaleb J. Cole of Washington state uses the handle “Khimaere.” His posts are often misogynistic, and he’s the guy who lauded Woodward as a “Gay Jew Wrecking Crew.” 
11/ Sean Michael Fernandez, a leader of Atomwaffen in Texas, goes by “Wehrwolf” in the chat room. He wrote that reports of Woodward’s ties to Atomwaffen were actually good publicity for the group. 
12/ We know that members of Atomwaffen Division live in at least 23 states: 
13/ We even have some chats from Sam Woodward. Three days after he allegedly killed Bernstein, he posted that he was reflecting on mortality. “hey everyone,” he wrote. i just wanted to let you all know i love you so much.”
