1/ Today the @DNC filed a lawsuit against the Russian Government, Trump Campaign, and Wikileaks. The announcement was quickly followed by several counter narratives. We took a look at this trending post by Jackposobiec that has received 1.5m impressions as of 3pm ET 
2/ One of the first amplification accounts to share the tweet was Bossycowgurl84, an anonymous profile that posts aggressive content and is followed by Charlie Kirk, Harlan Hill and Bill Mitchell. They follow these accounts to amplify their content.
3/ Qanonpatriot also shares the content. Another anonymous account that pushed Qanon conspiracy theories and markets itself as a Q amalgamator/translator. If you're unfamiliar with this conspiracy check out this story: nytimes.com/2018/04/06/opi… @nytimes
4/ bbodine18457 yet another anonymous account that tweets on average 5,600 times a month. Frequently interacts with other amplification accounts we observe in our research. Content ranges from dull-racist to violent.
5/ This last account,Terrylambert201 is interesting - again anonymous - identifies as retired law enforcement. Terry has posted a lot of content about the recent Syria strikes and thinks the chemical weapons attack was a false flag (so does Posobiec). Monthly Tweet average 2,750
6/ What is always striking about alt-right twitter content is the lack of clearly identifiable real people interacting/circulating the content. All 4 of these accounts are anonymous, they mostly identify as older but are tweeting thousands of times a month.
7/ What is clear is that alt-right/far-left influencers are receiving tremendous support by automated/amplification (AMP) networks. Posobiecs content is being intentionally boosted by someone/something. His 302k followers enable him to gain 1.5m impressions in under three hours.
8/ While @thehill with their 3m followers is barely managing 90k impressions over the same period. AMP networks are enabling the rapid spread of counter narratives and disinformation, basically playing platform algorithms and circumventing journalism and truth.
Even on this thread, Kellydanes1 aka TrumpGirl likes and retweets because her account is set up to automatically interact with content containing specific keywords i.e. Posobiec. Hope she took the time to read our stuff.
