Theft of public funds is a serious thing its price is so high but you know what, I am minding my own because when people like me have walked around minding and caring and trying with all our might to shun this crime we were called foreign paid activists, idlers, attention seekers
I am minding my own because when the state singled us out for being loud and bold and courageous we found ourselves alone struggling because what we were doing wasn't appealing it was inconveniencing your everyday lives.
I am minding my own because when we said it isn't as simple as getting the right people in power but it matters most about how they get to power y'all said it's either red or orange (which rebranded) and that my yellow institution was too bright.
I am minding my own because when we emphasised on collective responsibility you assumed it was because we wanted a share of your elusive comfortable bubble and that we made things uncomfortable.
I am minding my own because when we say there's no difference between us you say well...the difference is very clear, you are a rabid being envious of our found peace, economic stability and how safe you are next to power because tribe n' other short stories.
I am minding my own because I've never had the luxury to not be angry. I have always been angry so much so that it sits heavy on my chest, chokes my words from coming out of my mouth and makes my body shake. I KNOW ANGER.
So right now as screwed as the republic is, I beg to mind my own. Self care is utmost care. Power to y'all.
