#SikhHeritageMonth 1st Guru #GuruNanak ji was born on 20th October,1469 at #Talwandi (#NankanaSahib) and died at #Kartarpur, #Pakistan on 22nd Sept,1539. Lifetime guru, he attempted to bridge Hindu Muslim divide,was against cast system & Sati practice.

Defeated by #Suri dynasty, he recovered the empire, ruling from 22nd Feb 1555 till 27th Jan 1556. Died falling from stairs
