IMPD also released both officers' personnel files. Only prior discipline for either was a reprimand to Scott over IMPD's moonlighting policy. Mercer was named district Officer of the Year a week before the Reed shooting; Scott has earned the Medal of Valor & 2 commendations.

A white man swinging an axe approached NYPD officers, watch how close he comes to cutting one of them. If this man was Black, this would have ended very differently.
This happened at Walmart in San Leandro, CA. They shot #SteveTaylor who had dropped his baseball bat, AS HE WAS WALKING AWAY & then stood over his body & SHOT HIM IN THE BACK AGAIN.

Hundreds blocked traffic in Indianapolis to protest the police-involved shootings of 2 black men. Police say Dreasjon Reed (left) fled from them in a car & fired shots. Hours later, McHale Rose (right) was killed when he shot at police w/a rifle in an ambush attack, police say. 
Dreasjon Reed also recently posted a first-person video on his Facebook of what looks like him committing a drive-by shooting. The gun in this video appears to match the gun seen in his live stream during the fatal police chase yesterday. archive.vn/mgjVj
