Final #coronavirus numbers for Sept 23rd. Yesterday global numbers surged. The world added 315,717 new #COVID19 infection cases, the 2nd highest daily total yet, while losing 6,333 lives to the #coronavirus. Total to date global deaths now exceed 980,000.

Yesterday #India added 89,688 new #COVID19 infection cases while losing another 1,152 lives to the #coronavirus as it continues to lead all countries in daily infections and virus deaths.

The #USA saw another 41,616 new #COVID19 infections yesterday while losing 1,112 more American lives to the #coronavirus, the last time daily virus deaths in the States exceeded 1,000 was eight days ago. #Trump

In #Europe the #COVID19 numbers from yesterday are....ugly. Infections in #France rocketed back up yesterday with over 13,000 new infections. While #Spain with over 11,289 new #coronavirus cases yesterday saw its highest daily infection numbers to date.

The #UK saw an alarming increase in new #COVID19 infections yesterday registering 6,178, its 2nd highest daily total ever and the most cases in any one day since Apr 10th. New infections in #GreatBritain jumped by over 1,000 cases day to day in a week w/ already rising numbers

The #COVID19 situation in the #Netherlands is deteriorating as it reported, for the 3rd day in a row, its highest daily case numbers to date and for the third straight day, and 3rd time ever, new #coronavirus infections exceeded 2,000.

Elsewhere in #Europe #Denmark, #Hungary, and #Poland all registered there 2nd highest daily #COVID19 numbers to date yesterday. #coronavirus #EU

#Israel saw its #COVID19 numbers skyrocket yesterday with 11,316 new #coronavirus infections yesterday, almost double the amount of infections of the previous highest day, which is astonishing. It also recorded its 2nd most deadly day yet in the pandemic with 40 #COVID deaths.

In #SouthAmerica #Argentina recorded 12,625 new #COVID19 infection cases, its second highest ever daily accumulation of infections, while losing 424 lives to the #coronavirus. In the last three days Argentina has seen its three deadliest days in the pandemic to date.
