Let's start with the remarkable numbers this morning just released by #Ukraine.

It's estimated 450 more Russian soldiers have died in the invasion, while APVs destroyed also well above the daily mean.

So #Ukraine's offensive continued during the night and this morning.

There have been a few explosions in #Kherson city already today and now gunshots heard. That's not something I was expecting yet!

#Russia held a ceremony this morning to hand over an award to "hero" Captain Yevgeniy Kozlovsky.

The 34 year old invader from Volgograd was killed in #Ukraine at the end of June.

Two more chapters in the series #RussiaOnFire, this time from #Yaroslavl.

First, a fuel truck collided with an ambulance.
The accident killed at least 3 people.

After the crash (see previous tweet) in #Yaroslavl, Russian firefighters couldn't contain the blaze.

Soon nearby houses started to be engulfed by flames.

A court in Moscow fined "Twitch" 3 million rubles.

The streaming service refused to remove the video of an interview with #Ukraine's Presidential Adviser @arestovych

Couple of pieces of relevant business news.
The wholesale price of gas has fallen 10% today, which can only be good news (except for Putin)

But #China has revealed in 2022 so far it has taken 70% more electricity from #Russia than at this time last year.

Back to events in #Kherson now as it's the focal point and there is a lot more news...

Firstly the Occupiers have admitted another attempt was made to kill a traitor.

38 year old Major Sneshin, Head of Traffic Police, survived a roadside IED explosion near his car.

Reports early this morning from locals in #Kherson suggested the #Antonivskyi (RU: #Antonovsky) bridge was again hit with missiles.

No update on damage yet, but #Ukraine must be trying to ensure the pontoon bridge is not completed.

#Ukraine has also hit a workshop called "Brein", just north of #Kherson city centre, on the road to #Mykolaiv

Brein is described as an "Electronics Retail and Repair Shop" but Russian military are often there suggesting more than just electronics repairs there.

Oh, right on cue, here's an updated photo of the state of "Brein" in #Kherson now after a visit from #HIMARS or some other #Ukraine weapons.

Many dead in #Kharkiv after massive attacks on the city this morning.

At least 5 dead confirmed already and 9 wounded as 8 Russian missiles landed in #Ukraine's second city.

Residential buildings & streets hit by #Russia in its latest terrorist attack in #Kharkiv

There is blood on the streets, and one of the missile strikes has caused a fire to burn at an apartment block. Repairs already underway at another hit by a rocket.

There are some great examples in wars of fakes being used to mislead the enemy.

This appears to be another one by #Ukraine in defence of its homeland.

A kindergarten and a market were among other the targets hit by #Russia this morning.

One man showed fragments of the shell in his T-shirt.

The team of @rafaelmgrossi and the @iaeaorg has arrived in #Ukraine.

They are now preparing to travel from #Kyiv to the nuclear power plant in #Enerhodar, southern Ukraine.

#Russia fired three rockets at the Ingulsky bridge in #Mykolaiv / #Nikolaev today, but failed to hit according to governor Vitality Kim.

Hey everyone. Going to be unable to update for 2-3 hours.

So #Gorbachev (more correctly Gorbachyov) has died.

Much eulogising in the west for a man "who ended the cold war" & oversaw the fall of the USSR.

However in #Ukraine he's also remembered for keeping #Chornobyl secret, going ahead with a MayDay parade in #Kyiv despite radiation

This time the south getting to experience what the north already knew about as the invaders pillage properties and load illicit goods into stolen cars (which I've reported on earlier)
