Lots of very interesting and emotional news yesterday as a tide of villages became liberated in #Kharkiv region.

Another all time record number number of #Russia's soldiers killed on the battlefields of #Ukraine yesterday.

Strong rumours that #Ukraine has captured another high ranking Russian officer.

Lieutenant General Andrey Sychevoi, who was Commander of Russia's "west" occupation unit, is believed to have been caught near #Balakliia

Another symbol of resistance is spring up in occupied towns and cities in the south of #Ukraine.

It's a very simple, but pertinent thing: the letter " Ї "

There is no such letter in the Russian alphabet, while the i with two dots also appears in #UkraЇna

#Ukraine claims a hospital in #Sumy region has been hit by #Russia, there are injuries.

Here's a translation of the announcement - Russian planes firing at the hospital.

Strangely though, so far the governor only released photos of the missiles, not the building.

Meanwhile 9 civilians died in the unoccupied part of #Donetsk region in the last 24 hours, according to #Ukraine authorities.

Another 23 people were wounded.
It's reported that 5 people died in Bakhmut, 2 in Zaitsevo, 1 in New York and 1 in Fedorivka

Stories circulating on social media (unconfirmed), that this is a photo of the Russian installed "Head" of Ivanivka in #Kharkiv region.

#Ukraine has captured another important village in #Kharkiv which adds real pressure on #Kupiansk.

I'm told Russians have fled #Senke, just 10 miles south of Kupiansk.

Meanwhile first photo from #Chkalovske, which was liberated yesterday.

The blocking of #Izium is close!

As I reported yesterday, #Ukraine's troops are now at #Kupiansk.

Fighting reported in the town itself, but not much. Maybe that's a good sign!

The Mayor of #Kharkiv reports a kindergarten and gas station have been hit by Russian missiles.

Ihor Terekhov says there are victims but cannot say yet how many injured or if any died in the attack.

Update from #Kharkiv where 3 children and 7 others have been injured in the attack on the city centre.

#Russia's S-300 missiles hit a school, kindergarten, gas station and a sports facility. Fires still blazing in the centre.

A court in #Russia has confirmed a 21.7 billion rubles fine for #Google.

This is reported to be a photo of the main bridge across the Oskil river in #Kupiansk. It's on various websites and Telegram channels already and while it cannot be verified yet, it would seem likely forward artillery strikes would target it, depriving #Russia of reinforcements.

I n his evening address, President #Zelenskyy said they've regained control of over 30 settlements in #Kharkiv region.

I don't have confirmation, but I've seen separate reports saying both #Oskil and #Kapytolivka (blue arrow) are now liberated.

Even before the battle for #Kupiansk truly began the town showed the scars of recent effects of the war.

TG channel kupyansk_news earlier showed photos of Kamelot hotel on the eastern edge of the town.

My guess here is that #Ukraine identified this as a base for Russian troops
