So we've had non-military personnel, footballers, disabled men and many, many more drafted in the #mobilisation in #Russia.

Also many reports of just one day's training before being sent to the frontline in #Ukraine. This is surely a suicidal gamble by #Putin? Time's almost up.

One resident of #Odesa reports air defence is working well on the south coast, with many (presumably Iranian) drones buzzing the city.

It looks as though #Russia has hit an ammunition cache in #Odesa region. There are multiple explosions occurring in #Zatoka, south of the city of #Odessa.

There is an eerie glow south of #Odesa after what looks to have been a direct hit on #Ukraine weapons dump in the region.

Drones have been shot down, but either a missile of a kamikaze drone has found its target in #Zatoka

There is a big and historic Jewish population in #Odesa.

Why does #Israel still refuse to help the Jewish President or the people of #Ukraine, effectively backing #Putin's Nazi actions?

Britain's MoD seems to think #Russia plays by the rules.

We've already had reports of one day's training and some unsubstantiated stories of zero training before being sent to Ukraine. And contrary to what is written here, not all call ups are to previous military personnel.

More enormous battlefield losses for #Russia reported today.

If these figures are accurate it means the Russians have managed to lose almost 2,300 tanks. That's almost 50% of the number of tanks in the entire EU.

Another military enlistment office is torched in #Russia

This is becoming a real problem now as the civil disobedience continues.

The latest attack happened in Uryupinsk, #Volgograd.

A man has reportedly shot the Head of the Conscription Commission in Ust-Ilimsk in the #Irkutsk region.

He was wounded. A 25 year old man has been arrested.

Protests should be underway in #Dagestan which saw the biggest demonstrations in all of #Russia yesterday.

But police have been blocking roads in #Makhachkala and also #Khasavyurt to stop gatherings.

Looks like the police in #Russia's southern Republic of #Dagestan have done enough to stop crowds gathering for the scheduled protest.

Yesterday the Kremlin was embarrassed by the large protests there. The mainly Islamic regions have flirted with separatism at various times.

Plenty of small explosions in #Donetsk region today, from before first light.

This happened in the city itself in the last half hour.

Of course - didn't take long for #Russia to blame the west for trouble in #Dagestan.

Regional Head Sergei Melikhov says the anti-mobilisation protests "were prepared & controlled, including from abroad. They are trying to aggravate the situation" then mentions foreign sponsors🤡

There were rumours the border between #Russia and #Georgia would be closed. That's not happened yet.

Some say Russians are putting roadblocks to stop men of military age leaving. Others say you're allowed to cross the border if not in a vehicle, so look at the crowds now.

Reports now that the FSB has detained the Consulate General of #Japan in #Vladivostok.

Motoka Tatsunori has been declared persona non grata by #Russia after allegations he had gained restricted information.

I cannot verify this but it is very powerful if this is not an old card.

A #Chechen rips up his military I.D., presumably in protest at the #mobilisation and the police response in the southern republics.

Rumours on social media that mobilisation has been suspended in #Dagestan.

Personally I doubt it, just an hour after the Governor pledged it was definitely continuing. But it could well be FSB disinfo spread to stop the protests.

Head of #Dnepropetrovsk region, Valentin Reznichenko, confirms the airfield and infrastructure was struck with X-59 missiles. Further use of the airport is impossible he says.
