So far the US military is showcasing a burst of activity in 100s of photos/vids - troops arriving, building tents, stringing concertina wire.

Will be interesting if/when DOD's rate of media production slows to a crawl once initial work is done- the rest won't be very photogenic
Almost comical how many photos DOD posted of US troops stringing up concertina wire (not sure what that does to "defend" against migrants seeking asylum at points of entry). But then:

By now, it’s painfully apparent to almost all that something has gone terribly wrong in the Trump administration.
We can all agree, hopefully, that the Trump administration’s decision to prioritize incomplete healthcare reform, tax cuts for the rich, and, recently, a prison reform bill that would free 4,000 prisoners and benefit illegals has been lackluster at best—and disastrous at worst.
The disagreement within the dissident right now appears to be over whether or not we can expect *any* progress on the immigration front during a Trump presidency.

I’ve remained largely on the fence, but I’m growing increasingly concerned.
