Many of the kids I met just as they crossed the Rio Grande River were hungry, thirsty and some had been sexually exploited/violated on their long trek to America. Some hadn't seen their parents since they were toddlers. It was heartbreaking. BP agents were doing their best...
But the failed U.S. immigration policies, lies told by human traffickers and the Obama admin and Congress refusal to fix the problem created an even greater peril...by June, 2014 that year more than 47,000 children, many w/out parents, crossed. Flashback:theblaze.com/news/2014/06/1…

You don’t know me. I won’t miss it at all and haven’t for a long time. A friend sent me the clip - I was disgusted. I don’t know you either - what I can tell you is that as a family we go to war and when our troops come home it’s as a family that we endure.
I have so many friends - some whose husbands have given their lives for our nation. The pain of going on without them, without eyesight, with lost limbs and knowing that they believe in protecting our nation/ their families and the future of their children makes them remarkable.
Their families live with that everyday - thank God most Americans don’t have to endure that - we go about our daily lives without thinking of those sacrifices. That’s because so few volunteer for service - I feel blessed 4 those sacrifices and this great nation.

EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents disrupted 12 separate narcotic smuggling attempts and seized nearly two tons of marijuana over the weekend.
Friday, McAllen agents working near Mission, Texas, observed smugglers utilize a raft filled with bundles of marijuana cross the Rio Grande. After crossing, the smugglers loaded the narcotics into a Ford F-150 parked along the river.

On Friday evening, Weslaco agents patrolling near Hidalgo, Texas, encountered a large group of illegal aliens comprised of family units and unaccompanied children. As agents prepared to transport the group, three additional groups turned themselves in.

The waiver was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 11, 2018.
