I gotta get off twitter and possibly FB today. Seeing this gross call for "civility" towards garbage human beings that actively participate in not being civil to the most vulnerable in society is really really making me angry

the audacity to bring up the civil rights act and comparing it to this liar piece of shit being told she's not welcome is beyond infuriating

Some of the same folks calling for civility now were trying to tell folks that we were "overblowing" the bigotry of Donald Trump. That he wasn't going to really separate families or try to deport black & brown ppl

Yet here he is doing just that

I said this about XXXTentacion and it counts for Trump, his administration and his voters: fuck being civil and nice

People like this prey on getting passes and benefiting from the humanity they work to take from others. That's the real hypocrisy

The hypocrisy isn't people on the Left cheering Sanders being kicked out of the restaurant. The hypocrisy is Sanders and anyone else thinking she deserves more humanity than she shows others

I'm starting to understand how so many people get stuck in one-sided, draining relationships. You let people be complete fucking monsters while still giving them all the benefits of not being a monster.

If these folks want the benefits of living in our society then they need to live that and start treating others with some humanity. Otherwise...they get none

You're not gonna tell a black person that they need to sit down and be civil to the KKK so why you telling folks most affected by Trump to treat his people with respect?

I remember this stupid meme that came out years ago about the bakery refusing to bake a cake for a gay couple. The meme was a black baker faced with two KKK members in hoods asking for a cake and the meme said "Liberals would say this baker should be forced to bake that cake"

It was gross. It reduced the violent act of two white people in KKK hoods showing up to a black baker to "a difference of ideas"

a gay couple wanting a cake isn't violence against the baker. Gay people don't have a history of beating, raping and killing christian bakers. There's not a history of systemic discrimination of gay people AGAINST christians or bakers

But the KKK? they represent the belief that the white race is superior. they actively support murdering and discriminating against black people.

These aren't equal fucking sides. This isn't a fucking slippery slope. It's not even a slight slope.
