I want to expound on the tweets that @SallyAlbright wrote yesterday about @BernieSanders and want to give her credit up front for inspiring what I am about to tweet. Some of this she herself wrote. <1
After posting the breaking news yesterday that Bernie's campaign manager, Tad Devine, is all over Mueller's Manafort indictment, I had the busiest day responding to comments. People were shocked and surprised. <2
I even had to fight off and block a few Bernie cultists who stubbornly wanted to argue with my assertion and refused to believe there was anything there. "Oh, many of the emails were.from 2014" they argued, "long before the campaign" <3
The Devine-Manafort connection was always there. Some of us pointed this out during the campaign. It's called candidate due diligence. Bernie's pro-Russia votes were there. The Steele Dossier said Russia helped Bernie. Bernie kept attacking Hillary long after he was eliminated.<4
He was trying to take her down. He made her the face of corruption and by pretending he could still win, he led his minions to believe she cheated him out of his rightful place as the nominee, and they just couldn't stand for her to be president. <5
Sore loser Bernie cried rigged & Putin piled on with the DNC hack. Ignorant minions weren’t astute enough to note the hacked email stories began in late April 2016, long after it was mathematically impossible for Bernie to win the nomination. .<6
Bernie insisted the DNC needed to rally around Bernie, ignoring the will of the Democrat voters. I still see his face when sitting in the stands at the DNC Convention looking like he swallowed a peach pit. It was infuriating to watch. <7
His surrogates, right-wing supporters and die-hard cultists attacked us daily. They went after women and people of color and anybody who didn't lick Bernie's ass. <8
Tad Devine advised Sanders to ignore Pres Obama's request that he concede for unity after Sanders lost the NY primary. Sanders continued to campaign until the DNC You have to ask yourself why. <9
Bernie continued to fund raise through August, even though he lost the nomination & it was impossible for him to win anything. But he cynically stayed in as long as he could hoping that somehow Hillary would be indicted and he could pick up the spoils. <10
Democrat voters had rejected him soundly. Bernie was there to spread right wing propaganda and make new voters hate her. They didn't know or care...because they loved his message. It was a very cynical campaign and many of us saw through his bullshit. <11
Sanders did a lot of damage...especially to the young impressionable voters. And of course it contributed greatly to Trump edging out Hillary in the 4 key states. <12
His write-in votes in those 4 states surpassed the number of votes Trump won by. You can argue all you want, but these are the facts. These facts are also the reason many of us Dems loathe that son of a bitch. <13
Most Democrats know in our hearts he is a ratfucking, egotistical son of a bitch who only cares about Bernie. He is so much like Trump in the same way his cult followers are so much like Trump cultists. <14
He will never be forgiven for what he did poisoning the well, and contributing greatly to our country now having to endure Trump. As @SallyAlbright said, it all adds up to treason. End of Memo <15
