Missed this a few weeks ago - @HumanRightsCtte's report and formal minutes of its inquiry into "Enforcing human rights". Seems to have covered lots of ground, with 21 specific recommendations.

publications.parliament.uk/pa/jt201719/jt…
"Remit of @EHRC should be extended so it can take human rights cases on same basis as it takes equality cases. It should use those powers assertively and be given adequate resources to allow it to do so. Its work should be more closely scrutinised by Parliament": @HumanRightsCtte
"Ill-informed media criticism undermines support for legal system which protects everybody’s rights – even of those who are unpopular. There is need for better education about legal system, and how it protects human rights; Govt should do more to support this": @HumanRightsCtte
"We invited the @DailyMailUK editor, Paul Dacre, and editor emeritus of Associated Newspapers, Peter Wright, to give evidence but they both declined. We had hoped they would grasp this opportunity to engage on the interrelation between media and human rights": @HumanRightsCtte
"We agree with Shoaib Khan: “it is not unreasonable that if an inaccurate article can be published on front page, then related correction should appear there too": @HumanRightsCtte

Now, if only there was some way to make the media and @IpsoNews take notice of what the JCHR says!
Surely @DailyMailUK's and Associated Newspapers's refusal to give evidence to @HumanRightsCtte clearly shows they realise that their positions are indefensible.

If they thought they could justify what they publish about human rights, surely they would have been keen to appear.
Great to see @HumanRightsCtte comment on media reporting of human rights and make recommendations about how to improve it.

Although, the comment below is probably more for @IpsoNews than for tabloids. Ipso has 'prominence' powers, so it should use them!

"Media and commentators should be accurate in their reporting of human rights cases. Where reporting is inaccurate, corrections should be published with same due prominence as original article": @HumanRightsCtte.

Now, let's see how seriously @IpsoNews takes this recommendation.
