Disagree with @rssharma3's claims of "privacy by design" in Aadhaar.

If this was true....

- Govt. would not have argued that there was no FR to privacy in SC Aadhaar case.

- The Aadhaar Mafia needn't keep comparing GoI with private entities like Google and Facebook.

So I did a factory reset on this phone... and found some really interesting things.

Some context:

The phone is a Tenor (10.or) G which is "Made in India". I bought it for a recent trip abroad.

My primary phone runs SailfishOS, which has an Android compat layer, but it was good to have a native Android for travel.
I didn't have time to setup the device before I left the country, so the phone ended up only being used outside India and had never been online from India until today.

KS clarifies his point on 8 (3)(c) and says it is 'completely wrongly drafted' with respect to "alternatives"...because for authentication, according to defintion, there is no scope for alternatives.
