Trump called for the meeting, I believe. It amazed me that he agreed to keep it off the record and then Trump used it "in his face." Also what amazed me, was Trump is demanding all media tell his perspective & diminish the opposition's or else! Then @MaggieNYT fawns. #Extorted

Pundits fall all over themselves to "give Trump's side" of a story.
BUT, paraphrasing: If someone says it's raining outside and Trump says, no it's not, it's not a journo's job to just tell us what Trump says. It's their job to go outside and see if it's fucking raining.
